When it came time for my fiancée and I to figure out what we were going to do for our "save the date", we found ourselves completely stumped. It was proving impossible to find an idea that wasn't: completely terrible, cliche', or just simply wasn't "us".

The idea struck us on a fateful car ride when Paul Simon's "You Can Call Me Al" came on the radio. Beth grabbed my face with both hands and said, "I got it. We recreate that music video. You remember it?"

"Of course I remember it. But what does that have to do with our wedding?"

"Nothing. But Chevy Chase is like 6'4" and you're the same height as Paul Simon."

I nodded as I let her idea marinate in my brain. "That's... actually brilliant."

Filming took place almost exactly a year ago from today. If you watch, I hope you'll see why it remains one of our favorite elements to come out of our wedding.
