We are excited to share today's stunning wedding, beautifully captured by As Sweet As Images. Lloyd and Bronwyn celebrated their special day at Buitengeluk in Johannesburg.

Lovebirds | How did you two meet?

We met in the January of 2012 at an event. We happened to be standing across from one another at one point and suddenly 2 hours of natural and easy conversation had passed! Needless to say, we knew we wanted to see each other again, not knowing at that moment of coarse what our future held for us...

I said Yes | How did the proposal go down?

Christmas day had come and gone and we'd been saying that we wanted to get away for a few days. On Boxing day, and eventually after finding accommodation in Clarens that morning, we packed the car immediately and road tripped through, as we often do, so nothing out of the ordinary. We woke up to rainy and misty weather on the Saturday and took a drive to the Golden Gate. We were both in high spirits and were not going to be defeated by the weather! We stopped at the Drakensburg lookout point and while taking in the view in the rain, Lloyd asked me to marry him, a moment so natural and perfectly us.

The Big Day | Tell us the most memorable moment of your wedding day?

Walking down the aisle to the man I wanted to spend my life with and make memories with. It felt as though we were the only 2 people in the world. Time stood still and seeing each other in that moment felt like the first day of our lives. I remember just wanting to marry Lloyd and proceeded to run down the stairs with my bridesmaids telling me to slow down!

I Quote | Describe in one sentence your wedding day

Our wedding reflected us both in its relaxed and classic manner filled with special moments and enveloped in blessings.

Forever & Always | Any advice for future brides

When planning gets overwhelming or anxiety creeps in, remember why you are doing this (getting married, to the love of your life, whom you chose) in the first place. The wedding is the bonus, but for us, the marriage was always more important. Decide as a couple what is most important to you and how you want to showcase your day and this will direct your spending. Decide more or less upfront what it is that you want and keep that picture in your mind because there are so many wonderful ideas that can leave your head spinning. And finally, take a deep breath and enjoy it because no one else knows how it was meant to look! Take in the moments, take a walk with your spouse and talk about the day, stealing a few moments together.
