We're starting off our week filled with Fine Art pretty with a sweet couple, so in love, with bride to be dressed in a stunning full tulle Julian Gold gown. For the couple who craves that classic and timeless feel, but wants an added touch of whimsy... we love designs like this one by Westcott Weddings. The clean and calming color palette paired with the pops of color and subtle texture in the Bristol Lane Florals, you're sure to get both! All shot as part of the Foundations Workshop, hosted by the talented Michelle Boyd, we're off to a great start for the week...

From Ellen Westcott: "In June, Michelle Boyd Photography hosted her first annual photography workshop, and I had the great honor of working with her to design the overall workshop experience. The two-day workshop was a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on practice, which culminated in a styled shoot at the end of the second day.

The workshop venue, The Winfield Inn, is a mansion that was built in 1884 and sits on 27 acres shaded by gorgeous live oak trees. Today, the mansion acts as a backdrop to hundreds of weddings every year, which occur outside on the grounds. The Winfield Inn is elegant in an understated way-a way that feels comfortable and familiar, and we worked to incorporate that feeling into the shoot. On the table, we layered a mix of modern and classic textures: stoneware plates and vintage flatware were accented by crystal stemware and luxurious linens. Meredith of Bristol Lane Florals created lush, romantic floral arrangements in soft spring colors that were at once fresh and timeless, and crystal candlesticks cast twinkling light over each placesetting. Graceline Art designed the beautiful paper suite and menus on handmade paper for a refined, organic touch. Jessica of Green Lily Bakery created a subtly stunning four-tier cake that we adorned with just a touch of floral and silk ribbon. Our models for the shoot, Megan and Louis, are a real couple who will be married in Austin next spring! Ms. Judy (as we affectionally call her now) at Julian Gold worked with us to dress Megan in a classic tulle ballgown, and Makenzi Laine gave her flawless hair and makeup. Billy Reid outfitted Louis in a modern tux, which complemented Megan perfectly. These two are the sweetest together-you can feel the love right through the pictures! More than the beautiful details (which were incredibly fun to conceptualize and bring to life!), the vision behind the shoot, and the workshop as a whole, was to create a space that felt authentic and genuine, a space that people would not only want to photograph but would want to sit down and enjoy after the final picture was taken."
