Who would have thought 29 years ago after only knowing each other seven weeks, we would still be newlyweds. And, yes, we are!! It seems like yesterday when I walked down the aisle on my Dad's arm to my awaiting husband. It was a whirlwind romance and continues to be a whirlwind marriage.

Granted, my hairstyle has changed. We both have more fullness to our bodies. And Johnny has more salt than pepper in his hair. But, we have weathered some storms, had some wonderful joys and heightened our love and commitment to each other. After all, isn't that what marriage is all about? Commitment! It's through the good and bad that our marriage is strengthened; our love for each other is strengthened; and our bond to each other is strengthened.

Today as we celebrate our 29th Anniversary, my wish for those of you that are getting married is to have all of the joys and none of the sorrow; to love each other unconditionally everyday; and may your love grow stronger with each and every passing today. And to my wonderful husband, Johnny, I say, "I Love You; I Love You; I Love You!!!!"
