Bridal Separates for Your Wedding Day

Bridal Separates for Your Wedding Day

Ever since Olivia Palermo rocked a sweater and a tulle skirt on her wedding day, bridal separates have been the latest trend seen walking down the aisle. The modern take on bridal separates can be dressed up or dressed down depending on the location and theme of your wedding. These 11 brides will show you that sometimes two really is better than one.

One of the best things about bridal separates is that it pretty much allows you to choose two different styles in one. When you take a full skirt and pair it with a plain white tank top (above and below) it gives a casual effect while still maintaining a bridal feel. This is a great look for vineyard or beach weddings.

The casual bride takes on a whole new feel when paired with a plain white t-shirt (above). Your wedding day is all about staying true to yourself and why not wear a white tee if it's something that represents your true style?

If you are going for a more bohemian or beach vibe, this transparent tulle paired with a fitted crop top is one of our favorites. It provides the fit that you want on top with the flow of a dancing skirt on the bottom.

Mixing and matching fabrics is a great way to show off your personal style. From fitted skirts and beaded tops (above) to lace sleeves and flowing skirts (below), pairing bridal separates leaves you with endless combinations that will create the look that you're going for.

One of our favorite looks for fall is pairing a comfy yet stylish sweater with a ball gown skirt (below). It is casual and elegant all at once.

If you're not afraid to bare a little skin, try a long sleeved crop top paired with your choice of skirt (below). It will keep you warm as the temperatures start to fall and is a versatile style that will look great day or night.

There is nothing that we love more than a bride who takes a non-traditional take on her bridal look. The blush ballgown skirt (above) looks great paired with a simple striped long sleeve shirt.

If you're looking to add a little dramatic color to your big day, pairing a textured skirt with a black lace overlay (below) is certainly the way to do it!
