When I worked in a clubhouse in my son's school I used to look for different imagination engaging activities but my hobbyhorse were activities involving experiments. The kids loved Growing Crystal Garden and Glowing Sand. The smile on their faces compensated all the efforts I had to put in activity preparation.

Now I've found another kid absorbing activity. Jackie and her Happy Hooligans prepared Frozen Hands. They dropped some treasures into the latex gloves, filled the gloves with water and let them freeze overnight. The fun began the next day when the kids used different ways to start the melting process to get their treasures back.
