Richard and Daniela's Shepstone Gardens Wedding - Wedding Friends

Today we are sharing Richard and Daniela's magical Shepstone Gardens wedding, beautifully captured by Salt 'n Pepper Photography. We are in love with the lace detail on the bride's dress! Classic and elegant. Congratulations to the bridal couple!

Lovebirds | How did you two meet?
We had seen each other before, in passing through the passage ways of Old Eds squash courts... Richard checked this hot chick playing moerball and thought, heck - that's a cracker! But he further thought that she'd think he was an old fart stalking her... Meanwhile, turns out Daniela enjoyed the 'eye balling'... Alas the timing was not right, both involved at the time, it would have to wait until we met again two years from that 1st encounter.

I said Yes | How did the proposal go down?
4 days of hiking, water rafting, zip lining, mountain biking and 3000 stone steps up the side of the mountain to get to one of the most amazing places I have ever had the privilege to experience, with the most amazing woman I have ever laid eyes on. Lost to modern civilisation in the 1500's, 'found' again in 1911, 2500 meters above sea level, surrounded by thick humid jungle, over 700 buildings to explore, countless steps within the ruins, x12 fresh spring water fountains and precision construction resulted in something that would defy human technology - Machu Picchu in Peru South America.

The Big Day | What was the most memorable moment of your wedding day?
We feel that the entire day had elements of enjoyment that we both loved. I would have to say the reception hall where we sat, ate and laughed our heads off at the speeches. Loved the venue!

Describe your wedding day in one sentence
We were privileged to have the wedding even the groom wanted
