Céline and Stefano's Romantic and Colourful Street Food Festival Wedding

Céline and Stefano's Romantic and Colourful Street Food Festival Wedding

via

We have such a pretty street food themed festival wedding to share with you today. Sent all the way from Rome and featuring some fantastic suppliers, including French photographer Les Récits de Becca (whose photography I have completely fallen in love with) wedding planner and stylist Weddings On Demand and the coolest street food trucks by Mozao and Nina la Roulotte, this is a wedding that you are most definitely going to want to pin! It is full of so much fabulous wedding inspiration and entertainment that I just know you are all going to love it. Think bright and colourful handmade pastel paper decorations, animal masks, a handmade backdrop for photos and bohemian yet elegant styling and decor. I. LOVE. IT.

Céline and Stefano said I do on the 9th July 2016 at the beautiful Church of San Luigi dei Francesi (Rome) followed by their Street Food Festival themed reception at the very cool and arty Studio Daylight. Being huge lovers of good food is was important to them to incorporate this into their wedding so they created their own Street Food festival with trucks that supplied pizza, tigella, Meatballs with Ricotta and Gazpacho - yum!

Stefano tells us how it all began....

We were at the Gianicolo, one of the best panoramic views of Rome, and when Céline went to the vespa to take something that I left there, I took from my bag two glasses, a bottle of champagne and the ring. When she returned I told her that I wanted Rome, who had seen our love borning, was my witness and I asked her if she wanted to marry me.

We have a great passion for food and in particular for street food, so the most important part of the reception was the buffet. We called the most famous food trucks of Rome for the evening buffet and we recreated a small street food festival, with cocktails, music and many games for kids.

For the dinner we have chosen the chef Dino De Bellis, who served fine food in a bohemian atmosphere. For dessert Le Levain made french pastries and millefoglie cake.

With our wedding planner, Monica from Weddings On Demand, we decided to decorate the venue with a lot of beautiful flowers and pastel paper decorations made by ourselves. Also for the tables we wanted something between elegant and bohemian style. We decided to put the party favor, a handmade jam, on the tables.
