When it comes to bridal fashion, seeing gowns in a completely new light is always food for the spirit and today's silver and ivory contemporary bridal inspiration shoot has a distinctly moody feel.

Photographer Olivia & Thyme teamed up with hair and makeup artist Allira Taylor, models Poppy Grace and Vanessa Dudderidge to create a shoot that showed modern wedding gowns (chosen from Cathleen Jia and Gwendolynne in moody Winter tones. The dark, blue-grey of Winter's light inspiration the deep richness of the shoot. Sparkling accessories from Wishbone & Ivy completing the inspired looks.

I love that the deep grey tones set the scene for the sparkle of the gowns, the ethereal quality of the veils, the delicate feel to the trains, the alluring glamour of the jewels. This little homage to my favourite time of year captures so much of what I love.
