Kelly shares the story of her and David's classically beautiful wedding in Ohio-plus, the surprise engagement video that couldn't be more adorable.

Our location: Cleveland City Hall Rotunda, Ohio. I visited City Hall when my sister was looking at wedding venues a few years ago, and I completely fell in love with it. The high ceilings and open layout are so grand and elegant, and all the intricate gold details give the room a beautiful look that is perfect for a wedding.

Theme: Because of all the gold accents at our venue, I knew I wanted a lot of gold. So we went with gold chairs, napkins, table numbers, favors and centerpieces. My mom also wore a stunning gold dress. However, because the venue was a blank slate with not much color, I knew I needed to pick a brighter color for the bridesmaids to make them stand out. I landed on Jenny Yoo Annabelle bridesmaids dresses in lapis blue. To tie everything together, I chose blush flowers for the bouquets and centerpieces.

Favorite moments: One of my favorite moments was our entrance to the reception. David and I took dance lessons for our formal first dance, but no one knew that we also asked our teacher to choreograph an entrance routine as well. So, after our parents and our entire bridal party entered the reception, we came out with a choreographed dance to "Uptown Funk" and it was so much fun! It really set the tone for the night, and we loved getting to surprise our guests.

The dress: When I visited the Wedding Suite, it was my last stop of the day after visiting five other bridal salons in the area. Feeling a bit defeated after trying on so many dresses, I walked up to the Wedding Suite and immediately saw my dress displayed front and center in the window. It was the Anne Barge Leah gown. I met with my stylist, Dominika (who is literally THE BEST), and when she saw me look at the dress in the window, she greeted me and said, "Well, I know you need to try that dress on because I saw your face when you first walked in." I tried on four or five other dresses just to see what I thought about the styles and saved "the one" for last. The second I put it on, I knew that it was my dress. I was a little bit hesitant because I always thought I would have a more form-fitting dress, but I knew it was "the one" when I realized I never wanted to take it off. Even after I chose my dress, Dominika played a key role in the rest of my decisions. She called people all over the country to send me pictures of the different color options for my dress, she kept me updated throughout the whole process, she helped me pick out and order my bridesmaids' dresses, and she made sure all of my alterations were exactly how I wanted them. Overall, Dominika went well above and beyond, and my mom and I are so thankful for her!

Advice for brides to be: My biggest advice for brides to be is that once you get to your rehearsal dinner, stop worrying about the details for the weekend! This is the one time that you get to have all of your closest friends and family in one place, and you need to enjoy that! Now for some practical advice: choose a bridesmaid to come with you during your portraits with your husband. I was thankful to have my sister-in-law with us for all of our pictures because she was there to fix my hair and makeup whenever it needed a final touch. (It was a windy day in Cleveland!)

The honeymoon: We went to Costa Rica for a week following the wedding. We had a great balance of relaxation and adventure, with some days spent by the pool and some days spent snorkeling, ziplining and visiting volcanoes. It was such a special trip and one we will never forget!
