Reem Acra's spring 2017 collection was all about elegant versatility and glamour. Known for constructing ethereal and lavish designs, Acra brought her hallmark aesthetic to her latest collection, which saw airy silks and lavish lace take centre stage.

Daring and dramatic looks were on full display, with an abundance of gowns boasting laced-up bustiers, low-cut necklines, and sheer corset bodices. Intricate floral embroidery and appliques, as well as delicate layers, added a softer touch to collection, while also paying homage to the spring season. Capturing the balance between daring details and refined elements was a sleek, ultra-feminine silk georgette gown, with a plunging neckline, re-embroidered lace bodice, and floral lace train.

Central to the collection was also Acra's exploration of versatility. Keeping in mind the modern bride, Acra fashioned an array of chic detachable accessories, which included removable overskirts, capes, shoulder wraps, and even a convertible embroidered organza train that transformed into a show-stopping veil for the perfect touch of dramatic elegance.
