The Brooklyn Art Library, home to The Sketchbook Project, a crowd-sourced collection that features 33,913 artists' books contributed by creative people from over 135 countries, was the perfect place to stage an artful, colorful styled shoot to inspire city-dwelling couples who will soon say I Do!

Planner + Designer, Lindsey of Lindsey M. Events tells us, We were inspired by the eclectic illustrations within each sketchbook and the vintage furniture existing within the venue. Much like the sketchbooks themselves, we played with pattern, color and shape. Park Slope Press hit a home run by designing custom illustrations that ran throughout all of the paper goods. Lush and bright blooms by Gardenia Organic brought life and energy to the shoot. And, finally, the boldness of Octavia & Brown's vintage rentals tied everything together. This vintage, modern mix combined with whole lot of color created the perfect wedding shoot for our real life Brooklyn couple.

This berry-hued bouquet, crafted from protea, ranunculus, tulips, garden roses, gomphrena + pepper berry is seriously stunning and a perfect match for the colorful, pattern-filled surroundings.

Seriously, how stylish do these two look? We love, love, love their non-traditional style! She's wearing Alexander Wang shoes + a rad leather jacket + he's rocking Zara + J.Crew. Shop their style in our guide filled with lots of similar finds!

Lindsey says, Unafraid of mixing patterns and bright colors, we wanted to create a wedding just as unique as each sketchbook itself.

The Sketchbook Project is available for intimate weddings, luncheons and other small gatherings now through Spring 2016.
