Beautiful, Flower-Filled English Wedding

Beautiful, Flower-Filled English Wedding

Oh, we have a very chic real wedding to share with you guys today - and it's our very last one of the year!

A stylish bride, her dashing groom, a beautiful backdrop, and a level of luxurious wedding flowers, Kim & Kanye would be jealous of.

Chloe & Greg were married in Chiswick House and Gardens in London, and their day was captured by the talented Brian Wright of French Grey Photography.

You know a wedding's going to be special when the bride's mum is a florist, and Chloe and her mother, Paula Gibson Flowers, pulled out all the stops in styling this dreamy day.

With thoughtful touches and a serious eye for the finer details, Ladurée-style stationery, Beauty & The Beast centrepieces, and a fabulous ruffled wedding cake are among our favourite touches.

But the most inspiring thing about this wedding, has to be the style. Greg sure knows how to rock his dapper Hugo Boss tuxedo, and as for Chloe's Monique Lhuillier wedding dress, it's off-the-charts gorgeous...

Our Love Story

We met through friends, seven years ago. Greg proposed whilst on vacation in Las Vegas at Red Rock Canyon, which was like a scene straight from a movie! Three words to describe our wedding? Fun, Magical, Loving.

The Attire

We wanted black tie as we love the fresh, yet old Hollywood look of the tuxedos and it's not every day you get to dress up in evening dress! Our groomsmen wore tuxedos from Moss Bros and bridesmaids had lilac dresses from David's Bridal.

Advice for Other Couples

Stay calm, have fun, make it personal to you as a couple, be creative!

The Inspiration

Our main objective was that we wanted our guests to have lots of fun, celebrating our magical day! We didn't have a strict theme, however I would say an ongoing theme was elegant whimsical, a little bit quirky and creative in a secret We just wanted to show our personalities throughout the day! We had black tie and evening/cocktail dress and our colours were lilac, blush and pastel colour elements. garden setting. Reel Love Films, captured our day in the most magical, touching way. We couldn't recommend both Brian and Francis more!

The Music

We were looking for a venue within London, as we had guests visiting from New York, Singapore, and all areas of the UK, therefore it had to be central. Chiswick House and Gardens ticked all boxes, as it was still within London, but with a true secret enchanted garden feel. You can instantly feel the authentic history as soon as you step within the venue as you are transported back to a more decadent time! The gardens are so enchanting and serene, you don't know what you may find, such as little waterfalls, rose gardens and swans! It offers the incredible Chiswick House for the service, the marquee which allowed us to have a blank canvas to be fun and creative, and the beautiful light conservatory for drinks for our evening guests. It was so perfect as the entire day was in one location. Additionally the staff were amazing in assisting with any queries, they were also very fun, calming and incredibly efficient!

The Ceremony

We had wine from Iniesta Wines throughout the day. Ampersand provided canapes, and our formal sit down meal which was beef wellington, and a yummy pineapple cheesecake for dessert. We had the fantastic flashing Cotton Candy from Candylious and Cake and Cake Pops in the shape of our dog from Cakes by Robin, (the bride has a sweet tooth!)

The Photography & Videography

Our beautiful rose flower wall, little touches such as the flamingos, rose dome flower table decorations and Xylo bands, were probably our favorite little personal touches.

The Venue

I was very lucky that my mother is an amazing florist! Having grown up around lots of flowers, the flowers were actually the easiest decision when planning the wedding. The bride's bouquet was all Peonies, Shirley Temple and Gardenia Peonies, and the groom's buttonhole was White Akito Roses. The centre pieces were Beauty & The Beast-inspired rose domes with Sweet Avalanche Roses, and tall Rose centerpieces containing decor stocks of Lilac and Ocean Song Roses and Sweet Avalanche Roses. The cake table and flower wall were a mixture of all of the above.

The Refreshments

We decorated our venue with flowers being the main feature. We had a beautiful flowered cake table, our incredible rose flower wall which provided a perfect backdrop for guest photos, and added to the secret garden feel! Our favours were M&Ms with our faces on!

Favourite Details

We visited Maui in Hawaii where we stayed at The Westin and The Four Seasons, both hotels were incredible! We stopped on the way home to New York, at LA, and stayed at The Beverly Hills Hotel, which was possibly our favourite hotel of all time!

The Honeymoon

Wow, isn't it stunning? The attention to detail is just fabulous, Chloe's mother really did go all out with those blooms.

Thanks so much to Brian Wright of French Grey Photography, and of course the gorgeous Chloe & Greg for sharing their beautiful wedding with us.
