Childhood Sweethearts Sunny Happy Loved Up Woodland Engagement -...

Kelly and James are childhood sweethearts and for their 10th anniversary James whisked Kelly off to NYC for a romantic proposal. So very romantic, he even filmed the whole thing. Kelly works in the wedding industry and I am sure their upcoming nuptials will be so very stylish.

Today I have their loved up woodland engagement to share with you, nestled amongst the pines and the ferns this pair look so happy.

Thanks goes to the brilliant Aaron Storry for sharing these images this afternoon.

"James and I are childhood sweethearts, we have been together 12 years this year! We met at school when I was 14 and he was 16. We got chatting at a friends party and after one too many wkd's, we ended up being tied to a chair together! Since then, we have been through 6 years of university together which was really tough (many expensive phone bills and tears on the train!). Having a long distance relationship at two different universities wasn't easy but it was certainly all worth it when we graduated and finally settled down in our first home."

"To celebrate 10 years together, James and I booked a camping trip away in the Peak District. Little did I know that half way through the trip he was going to surprise me with a trip to New York in December to celebrate our anniversary and my 25th birthday! He had booked the flights and hotel, and even spoke to my boss to book the time off work for me! December came and we embarked upon the trip of a lifetime to the Big Apple. We arrived in New York in time for the Christmas lights and Rockefeller tree lighting which was just magical! On our second day, we'd planned a day sightseeing, taking in Ground Zero, Wall Street, the Statue of Liberty and Brooklyn Bridge. We walked across Brooklyn Bridge to Brooklyn as we wanted to see the Manhattan skyline from this point and take a few photos. When we got to Brooklyn we found a spot by the water that overlooked the skyline beautifully with a fantastic view of Brooklyn Bridge and also with the Statue of Liberty in sight. We set up the tripod as it was fairly quiet and started to take some photos of us. After controlling the camera myself, James said he wanted to have a go. I stood in the photo waiting for him to set up the shot and he then walked over, grabbed my hands, gave me a beautiful speech and got down on one knee! Little did I know he was filming the entire thing! It was truly amazing and it's lovely to watch it back on video!" "Our engagement shoot with Aaron was so lovely. It was a beautiful sunny day and also James' birthday! We went to Harlestone Firs and Delapre in Northamptonshire and even though we all got bitten by ants, it was perfect! We are so thrilled with the photos, Aaron is amazing at what he does and we're so excited for our wedding photos already!"

Thanks so much for sharing your love story guys :-) xo Lou
