This Doctor Who wedding began with the sound of a TARDIS

You know we love a good Doctor Who wedding on Offbeat Bride. So I was stoked to get the chance to check out Gracie and Daniel's subtle take on the Doctor's world for their Los Angeles wedding last June!

Some details would be pretty hard to spot for those without a fan's eye. The sunflowers, for example, were a nod to an episode about Vincent Van Gogh. TARDIS blue was everywhere. And you'd have to be looking to spot Gracie's hand-painted Timey Wimey heels.

Of course, nonfans probably would have noticed the cutouts of the TARDIS, the weeping angel, and the cyberman at the reception. And they had to have noticed when Gracie's father entered the ceremony stating that he didn't know where she was - only to be drowned out by the sound of the TARDIS landing. Safely back from her adventures with the Doctor, Gracie met Daniel at the end of the aisle right on schedule.

Be sure to take a look at the reception's Whovian details! Guests munched on Dalek and TARDIS-shaped cookies, the cake featured a bride and groom escaping into the TARDIS from a pair of dinosaurs, and a photo booth included appropriate props like a fez, a sonic screwdriver, and 3D glasses.
