After the ceremony the wedding party has moved to the reception venue - a hill terrace with a view to the city of Split. The plan was to have dinner on the terrace, but the clouds were not having it and we set up inside this tiny traditional tavern just to be on the safe side. It wasn't plan A, but it added cosines to this small family and friends affair. We decorated with simple pastel flowers and candles to suit the ambiance and each guest received a pouch of dried lavender. The couple was greeted by a traditional three-piece local band to start the festivities right away! Claire wanted a sweets table so that the guests can enjoy the candy during the party. Her naked sponge cake was also so big hit with the wedding group.Around the middle of dinner rain starting pouring down and the party became anxious for it to stop so everyone could move outside after dinner. In true fairytale form it did, and the Dalmatia Events team grabbed brooms and mops to sweep away the water and quickly set up the DJ on the terrace. The party started without delay and the guests spilled outside to dance the night away, lasting until the very small hours.
