Channel your inner upper east side gal and look like you're ready to stroll down Central Park with this super chic beauty tutorial. With bold lips and just a touch of shadow, this look will have you ready for any wine-swirling, creamy cold red. Simply divine!
elegant affair - while subtle enough to wear during the day or at the office. In order to show you how to land this class act, we've enlisted the help of our makeup pro Diana Shin.



1. Prep your face for long lasting makeup by applying a primer to your skin and over lids. We love Lancôme La Base Pro and Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion!

2. Using a synthetic bristle foundation brush, apply dewy finish liquid makeup like Lancôme Photôgenic Lumessence all over skin to conceal any imperfections and leave your complexion looking flawless.

3. Contour the crease of your lids with a blending brush by using a nude or light brown eye shadow like Urban Decay Naked Basics Eyeshadow Palette (one of our faves!) and apply an illuminating concealer like YSL Touche Éclat underneath your eye area to hide the appearance of any fine lines or dark circles. MDC Quick Tip: Paint a "V"shape underneath eyes with the concealer and blend it out to achieve better coverage!

4. Apply a shimmery white cream shadow to your top lash line like Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoo 24HR Cream Gel Shadow in Too Cool and blend it out using your finger.

5. Thinly line your lid with a gel formula like Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner in Blackest Black and use a black pencil to fill in your top and bottom waterline. Apply a curling mascara to your lashes for added appeal! We love Urban Decay Supercurl Curling Mascara.

6. Line your lower lashes with a brown shadow (use your Urban Decay Naked Palette!) and buff it out for a smoky effect. Apply a small amount of highlighter to the inner corners of your eyes with L'Oréal Paris Infallible Silkissime Eyeliner in Highlighter.

7.Pick a foundation that's 2-3 shades darker than your skin tone and use a contouring brush to draw a light line on the hollows of your cheeks - from mid-cheek to your temples. Blend it out to give your face a contoured look and use a highlighter like Urban Decay Naked Illuminated just below the contoured area, above your jawline.

8. Add a dust of peachy blush to the apples of your cheeks and line your lips with a bright pink liner like NYX Retractable Lip Liner in Peony to create a distinct cupid's bow. Fill the rest of your lips in with a bright red lipstick!

9. Complete your look with a fresh, sleek updo or wear it down and polished with a little help from a shine serum like Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Anti-Frizz Serum.
