In my opinion pottery classes are one of the best classes my son's school offers. After just a few lessons, my son got grounding in pottery fundamentals. He knows how to center a mound of clay, throw, trim it, and he's able glaze the pots. I was so proud when he brought home his first handmade bowl.

His engagement and motivation encouraged me to produce my dishes. Obviously, we don't have a pottery wheel at home, so I started with a different ceramic project I found on Artistic Junkie.
