I have been baking for 17 years. It all started by baking a cake for my son's birthday and I learned that I loved to bake. I was living in my native Peru at the time and always knew I wanted to come to the United States to open my bakery. I came to the US 2 years later to find that it really is the land of opportunity but things don't come easily. In order to achieve my dreams I had to work really hard and endured many sleepless nights. After working from home for many years I was able to open Azucar Bakery in 2006, and after outgrowing my small store moved to a new location in 2011. I now have 15 employees including many members of my family.

We offer personalized service and bake everything from scratch. We offer all types of tasty treats including irresistible Peruvian sweets and mouthwatering dulce de leche. We have a welcoming environment that is enjoyed by all customers including our bridal couples.

Be patient if you love what you do. It takes some time to make money, and as business owners you are often the last one to receive a paycheck. If you are patient and love what you, do good things will eventually happen.

I have been with mywedding.com for the last 3 years. I have received great leads from my listing and have also received the Best of mywedding award for 2013 from our bridal couples voting in the Denver area. I have also worked closely with my wedding for several networking events across the city that has connected me with local vendors and venues. Because of these events I've been able to get on preferred lists for local wedding professionals which helps grow my business.
