Devin + Adam are a fun-loving couple who wanted their engagement photos to reflect their carefree + playful personalities. When their photographer, Alissa Saylor, heard the story of how Adam proposed, she knew right away that she wanted to build their sweet, living room fort engagement session around their fun + romantic story. And here it is…get ready to swoon! :)

Devin and Adam live in Asheville, NC. They love building sheet forts in their living room. Regularly you can find them cuddled up in their little fort, watching movies, and eating indian food. Last Christmas, after coming home from a family get together, Adam built Devin a fort so they could open their gifts from each other in it. In the very bottom of her stocking Devin found her engagement ring that Adam had designed himself. The gold of his mother and her mother’s rings were melted down together to create her engagement ring that was so perfect and unique! The diamond in the center is also from her mother’s ring.

So sweet, right?! And these photos are such a perfect way to remember such a special time in their lives…
