#127: shades of the sea
#127: shades of the sea

Good morning readers! I’m back!! Did you miss me at all? I’m pretty sure you didn’t even notice I was gone with the b.team doing such a fab job with the takeover last week! I may have been away from b.loved HQ, but it doesn’t mean I stopped working. Oh no. Over the past week I’ve been reviewing some of South Africa’s top honeymoon spots, I can’t wait to share!! We ventured from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth along the coastline, taking in some breathtaking views (ok, it wasn’t ALL work!!) so I thought today I’d share a little coastal wedding inspiration.
With cool aqua shades of the sea and touches of sandy colours forming the main palette, this is a clean and crisp beach wedding look. It’s brought up to date with a subtle nod to the ombré trend, driftwood signage and simple but effective details. These white starfish make the perfect placecard-turned-wedding-favour, and I love the subtle incorporation of coral into this pretty bridal bouquet. For me, no beach wedding is complete without sheer white fabrics billowing gently in the breeze, either as a chuppa or canopy, or simply torn strips of fabric tied to poles lining the aisle for a castaway vibe. Blissful.
