Chateau de la Chevre D'Or Wedding Inspiration - French Wedding Style

via

Welcome to this dreamy wedding Wednesday. We have a stunning Chateau de la Chevre D'Or Wedding Inspiration shoot for you to swoon over, captured by one of our extremely talented FWS vendors Marta Guenzi Photographer.

From the beautiful location, to the fresh colour scheme every detail is perfection. The inspiration shoot included 3 gorgeous dresses, silver sparkly heels, a mini couple shoot and the prettiest stationery suite. If you are planning a wedding along The French Riviera then you've come to just the right place.

Every detail, image, location and colour just oozes elegance. We are in love and could happily gaze at these stunning images all day!

Guiding us through today's inspiration is stylist Margherita Orlandi and photographer Marta Guenzi...

"We imagined a slow morning awakening of the bride in a typical French bedroom in toile de Jouy fabric, reading a love letter left on her pillow. Then a walk on the beach with the groom-to-be, a ceremony overlooking the sea and finally an intimate reception. A beach party in Villefranche sur Mer was the right final for such a wonderful day.""We also selected Roma, a brand new collection of romantic and retrò swimsuits designed for the honeymoon. We found it perfect for the morning walk on the beach (The intimate bay called Anse des Fossettes, in Saint Jean Cap Ferrat)." "Côte d'Azur is made by some beautiful elements: flowers everywhere, little beaches surrounded by nubby maritime pines, rocky cliffs to admire pink sunsets, seagulls playing in the sky, medieval villages with narrow streets, flowers, old fashioned street lamps, breathtaking panoramas and most of all that kind of romance that France represents worldwide."

"Roma is a line of costumes designed and created exclusively for La Maison du Mariage and conceived for day-dreamer women. These costumes can offer the bride a romantic and sensual vision of one honeymoon's must have: the bikini."

"Carmelo Spina, the hair stylist and make up artist, thought about a specific hairdo for each scene, always trying to follow the inspiration mood. For the beach photos he proposed a high ponytail embellished with a flower and a nude makeup, for the ceremony he created an up-do with a half braided crown."

"As for the bride dresses we wanted something graceful and elegant, made with luxurious fabrics. Together with Silvia and Sara, owners of the atelier La Maison du Mariage, we chose the lightness of fabrics and the beautiful shapes of Leila Hafzi's style, ethical and eco conscious fashion brand. The French lace was from Alberta Ferretti's collection."

"We decided to set all the moments outdoors, starting with the wonderful Chateau de La Chèvre d'Or, where we imagined the ceremony under the little temple, the beach and the cliffs of Cap Ferrat and the old medieval village of Eze, where we set the reception table."

From stylist Margherita Orlandi ...

"When I decided to start this project together with the wonderful Marta Guenzi Photographer, my mind went to those fascinating places, perfect inspiration for a shooting full of little details following the fil rouge of the French elegance. For the bouquet and the table flowers we decided with Maurizio Buzzi (the flower designer) to work with the pastel colors of Peonies, Freesias, David Austin Roses, Buttercups, Lilies, Eucalyptus and Echeveria with their particular silver shade, giving a light tone to the compositions. Then some pink Grapefruits added the freshness. We prepared a white little "table for two" with a runner in toile de Jouy fabric, one of the most ancient and typical production of French Rivera artisans. The toile leitmotif was also in the graphic suite: illustrations and texts interact together in the save the date, the map, the menu, the invitations, etc."

"This is one of my soul places, I loved planning and coordinating this shooting here and I hope this could inspire couples to get married in such a wonderful location!"

"I chose this wedding inspiration with Margherita Orlandi, super stylist and event creator. We've been inspired by the French Riviera's elegance during a business trip: it seemed a perfect scenario for a wedding inspiration session!"

"Cap Ferrat is called "The City of Flowers", that's why we evoked the spirit of that dreamy place, to let people feel the wind and smell the blossoms from the pictures."

"For the beach party Carmelo Spina designed the most amazing romantic and messy up-do with a flower crown used a headband paired with a luminous makeup with a touch of pale blue under the bride's eyes." Don't worry it isn't over yet! Check out this dreamy film from the day by talented Riccardo Lavezzo:
