We hope your week is going well so far lovelies, to make it extra bright we have for you a Chateau de Monbazillac real wedding in the Dordogne to share with you.

Today's gorgeous wedding featured a stunning lace sleeve Heritage Brides gown, paired with Charlotte Mills Bridal shoes for an elegant bridal look. Lucy's bridesmaids all wore dusky pink dresses from Ghost (a favourite of ours when shopping for bridesmaid dresses on the high street).

"Lucy & Damian, are both English but with parents residing in France on a part-time basis, decided to get married in the beautiful Dordogne region in South West France."

"After months of planning the logistics and the accommodation of all 70+ guests, the big day arrived pretty quickly."

"An overall elegant stylish wedding in true French style, gorgeous surroundings and magnificent weather. It was an absolute honour to photograph this destination wedding for a fabulous and friendly young couple."

"The ceremony took place in the beautiful church of the little picturesque village of Montaut."

"The happy couple and their guests continued the celebration at the stunning wedding venue - the Château Monbazillac, situated approximately half an hours drive away from the church."

"Two coaches transported the guest to the Chateau whilst the couple arrived in a vintage Citroen car."

"Although the grounds of the Chateau remained open to the public until late afternoon, guests had the pleasure of exploring the surroundings and were served champagne and canapés outside the function room situated to the side of the Chateau."

"Just before sunset I took Lucy & Damian for a quick walk around the Chateau grabbing the opportunity of a slightly less hot day to capture more pictures of them together."

"A delicious 3-course meal was served by the caterer Carteaud SA. Speeches of the groom and mothers from both sides followed shortly after but in true French style the first dance did not happen until much later in the evening."
