Intimate Washington DC Wedding at The Westin Georgetown

Intimate Washington DC Wedding at The Westin Georgetown

via

This sweet summer wedding will win your affection with the vibrant pops of coral and gold. After a Catholic ceremony and pictures in Senate Park, Caitlin and Erik celebrated at the beautiful Westin Georgetown with family and friends. This Washington D.C wedding was an all around classy affair with an elegant ballroom, open courtyard, lush blooms by Karin's Florist, and mercury glass candles placed throughout for an intimate and romantic setting. The bride and groom entered to the Virginia Tech football entrance song, pumping everyone up for the long night of dancing. We also adore the personalized touches that were included in this wedding-Caitlin borrowed her wedding earrings from Erik's sister, carried rosaries from her grandmother's First Holy Communion 75 years ago, and wore a beautiful, crystal bracelet given to her by her mom. This precious Washington D.C wedding was something truly special, shared with lifelong friends from high school and their alma mater, Virginia Tech, as well as family who traveled from New Jersey and Minnesota. We wanted to keep Erik and Caitlin's wedding timeless but still have beautiful pops of colors that showed off the spring freshness of June! The girls' dresses were in a beautiful coral and accented with gold! We wanted the wedding to reflect the couple and look classic and elegant. Amanda McCabe, Wedding Planner
