Afternoon lovelies. I hope you are happy and well this week. Fingers crossed I have finally shaken off this cold as I am gearing up for a birthday weekend away with my boys. Yay.

Last Friday I was over the moon to be awarded highly commended in the wedding company category in the National UK Blog Awards. Such a wonderful surprise, thanks to those that voted for WWW and congratulations to all the winners.

Plus WWW has it's very first intern. I'll be introducing you soon, eekkk. This afternoon there are plenty of gorgeous wedding links to be browsing plus all about the winning wedding stationery from the contest with Candelabra Print.

In March we ran a competition with Candelabra Wedding Stationery for one lucky couple to win the chance to commission their dream bespoke wedding invitations. We were overwhelmed by the variety of entries and the creativity of the WWW readers. Ultimately though, we had to pick one proposal; we were looking for something really fresh and something that Candelabra hadn't done before. We chose Samm Madden's lovely idea to create an invitation that is multi-functional. Samm had a vision to send an invitation that is ecologically sound, that can be used again and again and that has an afterlife after its primary function of inviting her loved-ones to her wedding. She proposed a bookmark to tie in with her obsession with fables and fairy tales, and we suggested that she might like to add a small packet of wild flower seeds to create an little eco-friendly bundle.Sas, founder of Candelabra, started sourcing artwork, including her own illustrations that would work with Samm's fascination with Fairytales, and all things natural. Samm mentioned bluebell woods as she and her fiancee Jon's wedding is going to be a very bohemian affair, magically located in a marquee in a bluebell wood. Together, Samm and Sas created a Pinterest board and after a frenzy of pinning, and a few 'works in progress,' Sas struck gold with an artwork that Samm really fell for."I absolutely love it! So exciting Sas!! xx.'

Sas printed off some samples, in both textured fine art Ivory card and as Samm really wanted back-to nature feel, Kraft brown card. Sas posted Samm her prototype samples and they agreed that the Ivory worked better for the artwork, but that the miniature wild flower envelope and binding should be untreated Kraft brown.

A few more proof amendments later, ribbon colours selected and Sas started production of Sam and Jon's beautiful, completely unique wedding invitations.

The bespoke service is a real collaboration of creativity and at Candelabra this service is available for a one off 'artwork design fee" of £100.
