Oh, the pretty details in Jade and Geoff's wedding will have you swooning and Pinteresting like mad, dear friends. A picnic-in-the-park (or on your college campus) wedding is a great alternative for those of you who want something casual but don't want a barn/farm/rustic vibe. The handmade details and vibrant colors Geoff and Jade incorporated into their big day added a bit of glamor and elegance while still keeping things on the simple side. Well done!

Jade and Geoff had a down-to-earth sweet and intimate picnic wedding on the beautiful Mills College campus in Oakland, California. The DIY celebration featured a lot of help from their friends and family, including the bridesmaid dresses that Jade's sister sewed herself! While Jade did her own makeup, Yesenia Guinea helped Jade with her knee length hair. Their good friend, Matt, officiated the wedding in the Mills College Chapel and afterwards everyone headed over to the Reinhardt Alumnae House for delicious sandwiches and salads from Gregoire and a cake by Oakland Bakes. Whole Foods provided the bouquets and extra cocktail snacks and Cost Plus World Market provided a lot of the decor (included the bamboo dishware and rainbow selection of sodas!) The surprise part of the day was an adorable abandoned puppy (with an eye infection) that wandered on to campus while everyone was getting ready. The little guy was a welcomed guest during the wedding day and was quickly adopted by the officiant and his partner by the day's end!
