It turns out that plastic spoons are very popular craft materials and components of many projects. They are cheap, easily accessible and, what is surprising for me, long lasting. We've featured already a few great decorations, such as Ombre Mirror, Hanging Lamp and Necklace. You can easily cover them with paint and glue so after modification you can't even tell that all these things were made from plastic spoons, believe me.

Ally who's running 'Now That's Pretty' - website full of charming, colorful tutorials, shows a quick way of turning spoons into yellow, exotic fruit. The lamp she made looks awesome with a shag made of green paper. She built the whole construction on the plastic bottle so I can recommend you this project as the upcycling one. The pineapple lamp would be a great gadget for those who gonna miss summer during upcoming cold months, this fruit will give you a little bit of summer light ;)
