Unique Wedding Video from Evergreen Videography | Fly Away Bride

Maria Antonietta and Antonio had a typical Italian style wedding, yet their wedding video caught our eye as anything but. By mixing cuts from the couple's underwater engagement shoot with clips from their wedding, Evergreen Videography managed to create a unique wedding video played to the elegant sounds of a classical music piece ( Vlatva by Bedrich Smetana). We love when we get to feature such talented vendors on Fly Away Bride.

Luigia of Evergreen recalls: "Our idea was to combine two different locations for the video: the green-blue shades of the sea for the engagement session and the warm rock-face hues of the ancient city of Simeri in southern Italy where the ceremony was held. The fact that Maria Antonietta and Antonio are a fun loving, open couple, meant that we knew they'd be game for the innovative way we wanted to film their wedding. For the engagement session we chose Tropea as the location, the smallest city by area in Italy. Filming underwater was a big challenge for us, though the crystal clear water made it easier than it could have been. The wedding itself was held in Simeri, where rocky mountains cascade down one side of the village ending in the Ionion sea, making for a truly picturesque spot. The church of Santa Maria dell'Itria is literally divine- built on the ruins of an ancient Roman building, it was damaged by an earthquake which hit in 1905 and caused collapse of the roof. Only the shell remains, but since i t's still a consecrated place religious ceremonies are celebrated here to this day. After the ceremony we roamed the little streets of Simeri until sunset."

Here are a few shots that we love from both sessions.
