WWW readers Leigh Ann and Michael wanted a vintage inspired wedding day with classic touches. They had vintage crockery, Leigh Ann had a vintage feel cascading bouquet and a beautiful vintage hair style filled with pretty blooms.

I so love the unique custom made bridesmaid dresses in floral print, the stylish attire and the romantic atmosphere of their day.

Thanks so very much to the wonderful Helen Russell for sharing her imagery with us this afternoon.

The Proposal... He then proposed on our four year anniversary on 24 th May 2011 at the Crab and Lobster in Thirsk. He proposed in the beautiful gardens under the moonlight.

The Vision for the Day...I love everything vintage I always have, from clothes to household furniture. Michael didn't really get a look in! All he wanted a say in was the food, his suit and the evening entertainment. I had free reign to style however I wanted. I collected all the vintage crockery myself visiting salerooms and car boots. I would come in every week with boxes of old cups and saucers.

I collected tea cups, saucers, side plates, dinner plates, bowls, tea pots and milk and sugar bowls for 120 guests, (Not an easy task!)

My dress was inspired by a dress I had seen with my mam just when Michael and I had started to go out. It was an Ian Stewart dress. Unfortunately the one I had seen with my late mam had been discontinued. However the one I choose was by the same designer and the bottom of the dress from the hip down was exactly the same. I fell in love as soon as I put it on. The dress was also very vintage and would fit so well with my theme.

My Auntie and Uncle married us in a humanist Ceremony. The whole wedding ceremony was tailored to use and we all worked together to complete the ceremony. Michael chose the wedding vows. We also had candles made which we light for significant people who should have been at the ceremony but unfortunately had passed away. We said a verse for every candle that we light.

I chose the first dance track. Michael wasn't keen but he couldn't think of an alternative. I chose Take That 'Rule the world' I've loved Take That since I was 12 and so just had to have a part of the boys on my wedding day! Didn't really go with the vintage theme but hay- hoy.

The adult bridesmaids had earrings from Accesorize and I collected vintage broaches that were pinned onto their dresses. The flower girls had little charm bracelets and necklaces

The Cake...Robineau's in Darlington. I don't really have to say much more. Again I had seen Robineau's with my late mam at a wedding fair. I think my mam tasted nearly a whole cake whilst we were talking to them. From that moment it was agreed I was getting my wedding cake from there. Every time we drove past the shop we would always say that's where my cake is coming from.

I think Michael enjoyed this part of the wedding planning the best. Jayne was so supportive with our ideas and the cake was the best cake I have ever ever tasted. Every one of the guests also agreed. We had a chocolate cake with praline crunch filling and thick chocolate fondant. Again I felt that my mam had somehow had an influence on our wedding day.

On the actual day Helen worked so hard I don't think she stopped. However she didn't have us away from our guests for long, which is what we had requested. Nearly all the guests commented on how hard she had worked. We were both thrilled with her photos and are still yet to sort an album as there are so many nice photos to choose.

The Honeymoon...New York. Michael surprised me on the day by giving me an Apple on it he wrote... A Trip To New York.
