I cannot begin to stress how in love I am with both of the weddings we are featuring today. I'm a pretty crafty girl myself, yet, some of you DIY brides (and grooms!) out there never cease to amaze me with the level of talent that you have. To close out our features today, I'm bringing you an awe-inspiring wedding captured by Sarah Tamagni Photography. Vanessa + Hank decided to get married at a family friend's backyard, where it had so many great spots for them to do so many things with... and I completely agreed! Wait until you see all the gorgeous crafty pink & blue details these two cooked up!

There were a ton of DIY details, but I want to showcase a few of my favorites from Vanessa herself: "The head table was a set of five smaller tables that were all hand made from a local store in my hometown. They were very gracious and let us borrow all of them and we just painted the legs of them. We had a collected a few old chairs and painted them for the head table and then a few others came from our amazing florist. The backdrop behind the head table held over a 100 tissue paper flowers that we made and stuffed into wooden Lattice so that we could hang it. The hearts hanging from the table were made from scrapbook paper and hung from twine. We made a lot so we were able to hang them all around. The Balls hanging from the lights I made from using balloons, string and glue. Once it hardened I would pop the balloon so it was hallow."

"Flower girl dresses my mom made with lots of different colors of tulle, ribbon and fabric flowers so one girl had a dress and the other a skirt. My mom also made the cake that was just for us, and we ordered apple pies from our local farmers market. For the favors my mom and aunt made soap it was mint swirls and topped with broken up pink roses and lavender. The tassels that hung by the cigar bar my sister and I ripped up strips of fabric and died each tassel. I always just liked the look of those and it was perfect for a kickback area. All of the signs I made and painted and used string to create a different look. In the bar we decided to use an old crate we saw laying around the property to hang from the trees so we could hang old beer bottles and string lots of fabric through it. We got an Old bathtub that came from a friend of mine and we layered it with lace tablecloths and stuck beer and water in it. We had a lot of old beer bottles I collected so we strung them wtih ribbon from the trees. We also created different Chalkboards to display what kind of beer we were having and a welcome sign."

Are you as amazed by the talent Vanessa (and her equally talented family!) have as I am? And how lovely were her pink bridal shoes and bridesmaids' dresses?? I was so overwhelmed with trying to be selective of not only the gorgeous photos Sarah Tamagni sent to us, but also with the DIY details Vanessa gave. I can't mention enough just how beautiful and crafty this wedding was, and I'm so happy I get to share it with all you lovelies!

Thank you Sarah Tamagni Photography for submitting this awesome wedding and much congratulations to Vanessa + Hank!
