Deep Ocean inspiration for twobirds bridesmaid

via

Hello my loves! Something a little different this Thursday afternoon in the shape of a little inspiration I recently created for the twobirds Bridesmaid blog.  Loved by brides and their best girls the world over {the most recent famous twobirds bridesmaid was none other than Lady Gaga looking particularly girly and gorgeous in a pretty rosewater ballgown dress} we’re big fans here at b.loved too!  So of course I was thrilled when Michelle from twobirds got in touch to ask if I would share a monthly inspiration board on their new look blog.  We decided to base each month’s board on a different twobirds colour and with Deep Ocean being a popular, and on-trend, colour choice for this year’s bridesmaids, there was really no better way to start our monthly mood boards!

A rich, jewel-like colour that suits many skin tones, this deep blue-green hue is elegant and classy enough on its own, but when paired with gold and glitter it steps up to a whole other level of glam! Introduce a splash of sparkle in your stationery – this modern suite takes on a new level with luxurious foil calligraphy.

And for the bride? This shimmering sequinned dress from BHLDN would definitely keep all eyes on you, while your groom and his groomsmen coordinate perfectly with your bridesmaids in classic navy suits.  Keep table settings uncluttered with fresh white flowers and a scattering of candlelit votives, but why not consider coloured linen for a fresh new take and added wow-factor?  Timeless accessories keep this look classic and elegant, while this ‘Two Thousand and Thirteen’ sign from BerinMade adds a contemporary touch of fun!
